• New DAF community Zoom account is available for facilitators and volunteers for organizing any DAF event or to simply meet each other! • The Art of Listening training for Facilitators for the US timezones will start on the 11th of July!
This five week course will explore the lost art of deep listening, and is intended to support facilitators to deepen their skills and build their confidence in hosting ‘Deep Listening’ gatherings.
The first sessions takes place between 5-7.30pm PST on the 11th July - check your start time here: https://everytimezone.com/s/c6e3e8f4
Subsequent sessions take place at the same time on the 18th and 25th July, and the 1st and 8th August.
The training is offered on a “pay what you can basis”. The suggested exchange is £50; you can pay more than that, or nothing. No-one will be excluded on financial grounds.

• During our last meeting we accepted a request from Maria Perkins and decided to provide financial support for the facilitation of the August youth event on Gotland (Sweden). Maria will facilitate the process with the group of young adults for 2,5 days around Deep Adaptation and Relational Being. Her travel expenses and food are covered by ReLearn NGO, but there is no fee for facilitation and Maria will spend more than 2 days on the road (without planes;). This event will be a test-drive experiment with new methods and new kinds of participants and if it is successful we can apply for future funded programs together with NGO ReLearn (Sweden). The proposal was to support Maria with 408 pounds raised during Relational Being training for facilitators offered by Maria a few months ago. Money will be transferred from DA Facilitators OpenCollective budget next week if there will be no objections. We will ask Maria to share lessons learned during facilitators meeting after the event. If you have a clarifying question, objection or concern, please write to Igor about it now.
• As was proposed by Lisa Gordon, we are going to discuss a policy for allocating funds in our donations box during the next General meeting. You can read the draft of the proposal here. If you will not be at the next General meeting you are welcome to share your thoughts in comments or by writing to Lisa, Terry and Igor, who prepared this draft.
• Deep Live Gathering 2022 registration is started for hosts, facilitators and regular participants! 12-19 of October 2022 we will gather in different places around the globe in order to meet each other in physical, virtual and spiritual spaces. We will share our grief, fear, anger, love, joy, compassion and trust that we have in times of collapsing unsustainable civilization. We do not have false hopes, but we do have a community of each other.

Consider joining: a co-host role does not demand a lot of experience!
