How to Join:  This community of practice event is for DA Facilitators and volunteers who are familiar with DAF events.  You can register here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwkduisqzgsGdV3nfiFX5HhsWua42CRnwsO. We hope to make Death Cafés regular general offerings.

• At our last Facilitators General Meeting we touched on a number of topics.  Find the notes here, including:

•  A warm invitation to the “Relational Being” course by Maria Perkins to aid those who wish to deepen the skills of relational being, and more confidently hold space for Deep Relating, see details below.
•  We heard about “Freedom to Care” circles in the DA space in January for unvaccinated people identifying as suffering from “medical aggression”, and discussed the possibility of offering a similar event as a test event for facilitators.
• A number of new people shared their projects.  We hope to hear and see more of these people and their work! 

•   The next multilocal Deep Live Gathering is going to happen in October 2022. The concept and some videos from the last Gathering is on the website: ​​https://futuref.org/deeplivegathering
The Gathering will be organized in a community-based and participatory way. Anyone is welcome to join the DAF Live Gatherings circle initiated by Igor, Tom and Dorian, to participate in discussions in #4-community-building Slack channel or in the Telegram chat. If you would like to host a local gathering in your region, to help others or to join the preparation team please contact Igor, Tom or Dorian!

•   The next DA Facilitation Practice course for facilitators is on the way: “Relational Being” with Maria Perkins is going to start on the 28th of February in different timezones.  

This five week training course is intended for DA Facilitators who wish to deepen the skills of relational being, and more confidently hold space for Deep Relating.

Deep Relating is a ‘relational meditation’ practice that allows us to examine our inner world of thoughts, emotions, sensations and intuitive visions as they arise in our communication with one another. It’s a space where we come together to explore what is true in the present moment and voice it from a place of deep ownership and respect for ourselves and each other.

European and Australasian timezones: We begin on Monday 28th February, 8-10am UTC,  7-9pm AZ and continue at the same time on 7th March, 14th March, 21st March, 28th March

The training is offered on a “pay what you can basis”. The suggested exchange is £80; you can pay more than that, or nothing. No-one will be excluded on financial grounds. 

Places are limited to 11 per course to keep the space safe (enough). Priority will be given to facilitators who are willing to host or co-host DA Deep Relating Circles.
